the cosnova blogger list is a regular e-mail newsletter aimed specifically at bloggers and vloggers. if you run a blog or a youtube channel and regularly post about topics related to beauty and fashion we’ll be happy to add you to the list. once you’re on it, you’ll receive exclusive news about essence and catrice products on a monthly basis, including important details like online blocking dates.
the blogger list is currently available in german and in english.
check out the terms & conditions of the cosnova blogger distribution list here.
just send an e-mail to email@example.com asking to be included in our blogger list. you’ll then receive a short questionnaire so we get to know you and your blog/vlog a bit better. once you’ve returned the completed questionnaire to us, we’ll add you to the blogger list.
generally, we’ll add any blogger/vlogger to our list. the blog/vlog has to be active, though, and it has to fit our products (e.g. cosmetics, beauty).
please let us know in a short e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org if you change your e-mail address or domain name so we can update your details in our blogger list and you’re not missing any of our newsletters. similarly, please tell us if you decide to stop blogging/vlogging so we can remove you from our list.
please send us a brief e-mail to email@example.com so we can double-check your contact details and update them if necessary.
the online blocking notice are a few lines in bold, red writing at the beginning and end of the newsletter e-mail and on all attachments. the online blocking notice tells you when you are allowed to publish the information and pictures included in the newsletter (usually on or after a certain date). the online blocking notice applies to all online media, not just bloggers and vloggers.
we’re putting a lot of effort into the development of our products so that we can offer you the very best in terms of trends and quality at all times. our development schedules are of course extremely important in this process. therefore, we are limiting the reporting time to ensure that only current products are talked about online. at the same time, we’re aware that you need time to prepare your blog and vlog posts, so we’re sending you the information and pictures of our new products up to two days before they are officially announced.
the online blocking notice ensures, then, that all bloggers and vloggers have the same opportunities to post about our new products the very day they are officially announced.
the online blocking notice is a show of trust from us to you as a blogger/vlogger. if you refuse to stick to our online blocking notice, you are not only abusing our trust but you are also putting all bloggers/vloggers who do respect the online blocking notice at a disadvantage. we therefore reserve the right to delete any blogger/vlogger from our list who doesn’t observe the online blocking notice.
depends. :) in cases where you yourself take pictures of our products – after buying them in a shop, for example – you possess the sole copyright of those pictures and you can use them as many times and in any way you want.
if it involves pictures we sent you as part of our blogger newsletters, however, you are also free to use them as many times as you want, but only after their blocking notice has ended. if you publish pictures from our newsletters before the blocking notice has ended, you are infringing on our exclusive licensing rights and copyrights regarding these pictures and become liable for damages.
if you see new product pictures on other blogs that you have not received in a newsletter from us, make sure you ask us by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org before publishing them on your own blog. the probability that the other blogger is publishing unauthorized pictures infringing our rights is very high, and you would be doing the same if you published the pictures as well. of course, we’re also welcoming any tips regarding unauthorized publications of our pictures so that we can contact the blogger in question right away.
in order to keep our prices down and our quality up we unfortunately have no budget for sending out product samples. we also can’t send you any products or samples even if you’d like to pay for them as shipping and packaging costs would be far too high to justify sending out products.
there are cases where bloggers get to test our products just before they are launched, but this isn’t a regular occurrence. every now and then, if we happen to have a few products and a certain budget left we’re sending products out to bloggers whom we’ve known personally for a while. in addition, from time to time we also send an e-mail around to everyone on our blogger list asking who’d be interested in testing products. we then chose who receives test products from all replies at random.
at the bottom of each press release (the pdf attached to the newsletter) you’ll find a link and login-data for our “mediabox.” just follow the link to the mediabox website, enter the login-data from the press release, and you’ll be directed to a product picture gallery right away.
